  • Please do not use the blue button at the top of this page unless you live in Acocks Green, Aston, Bordesley Green, Hall Green, Hodge Hill, Ladywood, Moseley & Kings Heath, Nechells, Soho, Springfield, Sparkbrook, South Yardley, Stechford & Yardley North, Sheldon, Washwood Heath, Shard End areas, have received a letter from us about presentation points and you are making your enquiry after 8 September 2014.

Some properties have been assessed as suitable for wheelie bins but collections cannot reasonably be made from directly outside the property. In these circumstances we have identified other collection and return points that you will be required to use. These are known as presentation points based on its operational needs and efficiencies. Our delivery schedules and routes are being planned now based on the current information we hold regarding number of properties, bin sizes and presentation points.

The decision that the property is suitable for wheelie bins and requires a presentation point has been made by the appropriate Operational Depot.

From week commencing 8 September 2014 some households will be notified that they need to present their household rubbish and mixed materials recycling wheelie bins at a Presentation Point when the new collection service commences at the end of November 2014.

If your property has been assessed as suitable for the wheelie bin collection service and you have been advised that you have a presentation point you must take your bins to the presentation point identified on the map you received with your letter.

Your wheelie bins MUST be put out for collection at the Presentation Point no earlier than 3.30 pm on the day before your collection and no later than 6.00 am on the day of collection, failure to put your bins out within these timelines will result in your waste not being collected.

The crew will return the wheelie bins, once emptied, to the Presentation Point. You must take your wheelie bins from the Presentation Point to your property as soon as you are able to do so once your bins have been emptied.

If, in your opinion, you feel the presentation point raises a Health and Safety issue, select the button at the top of this page and select presentation point from the drop down list in the form and provide as much detailed information as you can.

Upon receipt we will arrange for an Officer to investigate and respond to your enquiry.

Your wheelie bins will be delivered with a temporary identification sticker. However, to help prevent the bins from going missing, we strongly advise that you permanently mark your bins with your house number or other identification. This is important as your bins maybe one of several at the Presentation Point.
