Here you will find you find information about Birmingham’s population, including data from the latest population census that took place on 21 March 2021.
The survey provides an estimate of the population as at census day and tells us about the age, sex, ethnicity and health of the population. It also tells us about the labour market, travel to work, migration and housing.
This is the first census to ask about sexual orientation and armed force veterans. There is also information relating to annual mid-year population estimates as well as household and population projections.
