Highbury Hall 2015 Spring/Summer Calendar of Events

Real Ale Festival
Friday 15 May 2015

We love real ale, do you? To celebrate summer in style why not join us for our first ever Real Ale Festival. A variety of 11 'off the wall' ales will be available from local breweries around the West Midlands, including Whitworth Brewing Co, the main provider. Live music (from 7pm). Ploughman's platters will be available to purchase. Fully stocked bar.

Doors open at 6pm
Doors close at 12am
£12 per person (pre-booking is required) - price includes a novelty glass, 1 pint of ale and a guide book

The Mad Hatter's Tea Party
Sunday 14 June 2015

Take a trip to Lewis Carroll's equally remarkable work of Wonderland and attend the Mad Hatter's Tea Party at Highbury Hall. See Highbury Hall dressed up in an 'Alice and Wonderland' theme and try a selection of unusual afternoon tea delights, guaranteed to tickle your taste buds and indulge in a non-alcoholic 'Drink Me' potion.

Your table will be yours to enjoy for 1.5 hours, afterwards you are welcome to explore the house and grounds.

Cocktails, canapés and Conjuring

Second event of the year. Witness miracles close up this evening as Stephen Seabourne demonstrates his modern style of close up conjuring. Stephen asks his guests to dress in cocktail attire for the evening, allowing you to fully immerse in the sophisticated and vibrant atmosphere. The guest list is limited to 40 people for this exclusive event.

Show part 1: 8pm - 8.30pm
Interval: 8.30pm - 9pm
Show part 2: 9pm - 9.30pm

£24.95 including two cocktails per person and canapés. Additional cocktails can be ordered from the bar.

Gentleman's Tea

Can't be doing with sugar craft decorations and sparkly icing? Try something different and a little more robust.

With Highbury Hall's relaxed setting, The Gentleman's afternoon tea is the perfect location for the man about town to entertain guests or simply while away the hours with a game of chess or backgammon. Enjoy pork pies, savoury quiches, cheese from the Cheese Cellar, a selection of cold meals, pickles and crusty bread, tea or coffee. Happy Father's Day!
