Licensing Statement of Licensing Policy

The Licensing Act 2003 requires the City Council as the Licensing Authority to determine and publish its Statement of Licensing Policy at least every five years, to keep it under review and make such revisions to it, as it considers appropriate.
The current version of the Policy is now being reviewed, and an important part of this process is consultation. The Draft Policy can be found above.

The consultation closes on 16th November 2014
A public meeting will be held to discuss this consultation.

Birmingham City Council Licensing Authority is required to prepare and publish its Statement of Licensing Policy every three years.
The current Statement of Licensing Policy came into effect on the 16 October 2012 and is available to view below.
