Children and Play
A Birmingham has a large number play areas, not only in the Council's Parks and Recreation Grounds but others can to be found in various housing estates serving local residents.
Play and outdoor activity are widely recognised as important to children's physical and mental well-being, and their educational and social development. When children play, they are also learning new skills and concepts, all games have some educational value but some are of course more so than others.
