The aim of Birmingham's school meal service is to inspire our customers to eat healthily by providing exciting nutritious food in a safe caring environment.
Menus are designed to offer choice, take into consideration vegetarian, cultural and religious dietary requirements and meet the requirements of the Nutritional Standards and Requirements for School Food 2007.
School Meals in Birmingham offer value for money. The recommended prices to pupils from April 2012 to March 2013 are:
Nursery school meal: £1.60 (minimum)* from April 2012
Primary school meal: £1.90 (minimum)* from April 2012
Secondary school meal: £2.05 (minimum)* from April 2012
