At the time of the 2011 Census there were 10 Districts in Birmingham (parliamentary constituencies) with an average population size of 107,300. By Mid-year 2013 the average Constituency size had increased to 109,230. The mid-year population estimates are published on an annual basis. While the population census which describes the characteristics of the population takes place every 10 years unless otherwise stated the statistics below relate to the 2011 Census.
