Published Contract and Tender Transparency Data
The Government has set out the need for greater transparency across its operations which now requires local authorities to publish information of their tenders and contracts, with the intention of creating openness in its procurement activities.
As part of the transparency agenda Birmingham City Council will publish key documents on tender and contract information over the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) threshold, currently £173,934, in one single location, commencing 1st June 2012 as detailed in the table linked below:
