Launched in March 2012, the Advanced Manufacturing Supply Chain Initiative(AMSCI) is a £125m national project aimed at increasing manufacturing sector growth potential it looks to address market failures and improve the competitiveness of supply chains as well as attracting new manufacturers to the area
The initiative consists of a combination of grantsand loans which will be delivered in partnership between this Council the Department for Business Innovation & Skills and the Technology Strategy Board
