The Council's ConstitutionThe council moved to an Executive Cabinet Model with effect from its council meeting in December 2001. View a copy of the Council's Constitutional documents.
The Council's Democratic StructureDemocratic Services provides a Committee Management service within the Leader and Cabinet model of local government adopted in 2001.
The Structure of the CouncilThe Council's directorates are Corporate Resources; Children, Young People & Families (CYPF); Adults and Communities; Homes and Neighbourhoods; Development; and Environment and Culture.
The CYPF Directorate covers all business areas relating to education and social care for children and young people.
