Photographic Album Collection
The collection comprises around fifty albums, ranging from Victorian cartes de visite to Kodak Autographic and snapshot albums from the 1920s.
The albums provide examples of carte de visite. In the 1860s these card-mounted photographs became extremely popular. They provide a valuable record of the fashions and styles of the nineteenth centuary.
