The DESIblitz Writing Group
The group meet at Birmingham Central Library every third Thursday of the month at 6.30pm in the Library Cafe.
The DESIblitz Writing Group offers budding writers with the opportunity to develop researching, reading and writing skills for a live online magazine. The aim of the group is to encourage good media writing and to develop specific writing skills for articles that meet the standard for live publication on the magazine website. Writers with a South Asian background are targeted especially by the group but all are welcome. If you have interests in British-Asian culture, music and dance, sports, fashion, bollywood, health and beauty, food, technology and politics - this is an ideal writing group for you.
