Warne had this book translated into French because of Beatrix Potters widespread popularity in Europe.

The Story of a Fierce Bad Rabbit
Published by F. Warne & Co 1906

One of the very first published editions which came out in concertina format. Later editions were in traditional book format. The pages making up the folds were reinforced with linen for added strength.
