Media Studies
Introduction
The subject of Media Studies has become a very popular one to study recently. In the Social Sciences Library we have a range of books for you to look at.
The subject itself is the study of the media, how it works and effects society. It also looks at the content of the media itself. Strands about Journalism, Media Production and Mass Communication are sometimes also studied.
Where to find it
To make it easier to locate material the library uses the Dewey Classification system. This groups subjects using a numbering system. The appropriate numbers for Current affairs are:
