All our libraries offer up to date, free and impartial information on local and national learning and work opportunities.

Visit any of our libraries throughout Birmingham for access to a wide range of resources relating to learning careers and job hunting, for loan, reference and self study.

The Learning Centre in Central Library and all the Community Libraries are working towards the National Quality Standard called Matrix (Library Quality Standards). Ward End Community Library has already achieved this standard. This will ensure that you can have the confidence that you are receiving a high standard of service which is regularly checked..

Dont worry if you aren't sure what you need, staff are trained in enquiry handling, and using the computers and in city council policies and procedures and knowledgeable on the resources available and will be glad to explain what's on offer, and help you get started.
