Guide Dogs for the Blind – Birmingham Mobility Team
The Birmingham Mobility team work with blind or partially sighted people, fantastic volunteers and work collaboratively with other organisations to provide an accessible mobility service that meets people's needs. The William Booth Centre – Salvation Army Birmingham
William Booth founded The Salvation Army in 1836 and the worldwide organisation extends a helping hand to those who are homeless, friendless and in need. They offer disadvantaged people respect and access to the practical, social and spiritual support they need. The William Booth centre provides services in the local community of Birmingham to the homeless and those in need of support and friendship. http://www.salvationarmy.org.uk
Acorns Children’s Hospice – Birmingham Hospice
Established in 1988, Acorns Children's Hospice offers a network of care for life limited and life threatened children and young people, and their families, across the heart of England. These children and young people are not expected to reach adulthood and require specialist care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Acorns is currently supporting over 630 children and more than 880 families, including those who are bereaved.
