Since my election to the Council in 2003, I have always been available to help local residents with individual concerns and issues affecting the local community.

As a resident of the Yardley area for 35 years I know the area very well and have first hand knowledge of local people aspirations for our community. I believe that as your Councillor I can and do work effectively with local people and community groups to make improvements in the Yardley and Stechford areas.

Along with my two colleagues, Neil Eustace and Barbara Jackson, I believe that we have achieved a great deal but as ever there is always more to be done.

My main interests are the environment, planning issues, health, crime and issues relating to older people.

I believe in keeping in touch my constituents and deliver regular newsletters to keep you informed of the action that the Council and I have taken on your behalf. I also feel that it is important that an opportunity is provided for residents to pass their opinion on council services. I therefore deliver regular surveys to identify service shortfalls. All areas of concern are taken up with the appropriate Council department.
