All about me
I was born in Birmingham and have lived in Oscott for 30 years. I was elected as a local Councillor for Oscott in 1996 after years of various community activities. I have never wanted to represent another area as I personally believe you should represent the area you live and care about.
Becoming a local Councillor was for me a natural progression given my interest in the community especially the elderly and disabled. I have also always been interested in improving road safety, the environment and crime prevention. Being a Councillor puts you in a position where you can do more things for the community, which is why I wanted to become one. I now have my personal blog where you can find out what I am up to.
