When I was first elected, street prostitution was a big problem in parts of Edgbaston. I am delighted to say the problem is now largely eradicated, due to a number of initiatives including road closures, OCTV Cameras, and improved street lighting.
Current problems in the ward include thoughtless and dangerous parking in many roads, particularly around the University and new hospital site.
Post Office closures have also hit the area hard.
