Land Charges Performance
During 2011/2012, we received 13,327 search requests. We have introduced a variety of ways submit searches electronically. This means that over 80% of these we receive are now submitted electronically.
We extended our electronic service delivery following consultation with our customers, who asked that we provided an email service as well as the usual electronic channels.
As most searches are now submitted electronically, 100% were completed within 5 working days. The average time taken to complete a search is 2 working days.
We are also happy to receive correspondence electronically, which enables us to respond within 5 working days.
We always aim to offer an accurate and reliable service. However, we sometimes make mistakes. When we do, we want to hear from you, so that we can take steps to ensure that they do not happen again. 5 informal complaints were received in the year 2011/2012.
