St Augustines Conservation Area in Edgbaston was orignally designated in 1988. This was prompted by a planning application to demolish the Norfolk Hotel in Hagley Road.
The application was refused and we felt the conservation area designation would help to retain this and other buildings in the area.
A map showing the boundary of the conservation area is below, along with the designation report.
