Performance Monitoring 2008/2009

It's every council's duty to provide effective services to its people. Here in Birmingham we are striving to deliver excellent services. This cannot be done without every member of staff, senior manager, member, partner and stakeholder, playing our part in developing and delivering high quality services to the people of Birmingham.

In February 2008, the City Council approved its Council Plan 2008 -2013 which sets out clear deadlines and targets for each of our strategic outcomes.

Progress against the targets we've agreed with partners and government is reported to Cabinet on a quarterley basis. These reports highlight areas where we are doing well nad how we will focus on areas where we are doing well and how we will focus on areas requiring further improvements.
