Performance Plan 2007-2010 and 2007/08 Results

Performance Matters

The Council Plan 2007-2010 outlines the council's key outcomes for the coming year and beyond.

Our Performance Plan 2007-2010 explains what we were required to do to make real real improvements to our services and measure our achievement against these outcomes.

The plan sets out the milestones, measures and ambitious short, medium and long term targets to drive Birmingham's ambition of excellence as a "global city with a local heart". These targets, developed in consultation with our partners who help to deliver this vision, formed the basis of corporate performance monitoring for 2007/08.

The Performance Plan covers key corporate priorities that were included in the Council Plan 2007 -2010. Priorities in the Council Plan 2007 - 2010, but which were not included in the Performance Plan, were managed through Directorate Service Plans.

Due to legislative changes, we are no longer required to produce an annual Performance Plan. In previous years, end of year results have been reported in the next annual Performance Plan. Therefore, set out below are our 2007/08 results against those measures and targets in the Performance Plan:

2007/08 Performance Plan Results
