Strikes Junior Football Academy
Strikes Football Academies have been established at many city council facilities. Boys and girls aged 4-13 years have the opportunity to take part in 12 week coaching sessions at various centres around the city (passport to Leisure applies). Many of the Football Association qualified coaches have undertaken specialist training for coaching disabled young people. The scheme is fully supported by the FA. Birmingham Sports Club for Visually Impaired Players
Birmingham Sports Club have two football teams and welcome new players
- The first play in British Blind Sport's National 5-a-side football league for visually impaired players
- The second, play 11-a-side in the National Multi-Disabled Football League and cater for people with a wide range of impairments

Football for people with learning disabilities
City of Birmingham Special Olympics (for people with learning disabilities) hold football sessions as part of their weekly club meetings at Kingsbury School, Erdington on a Saturday between 1pm and 3pm.

The Villa's community football offers a friday evening coaching session for boys and girls aged 7 - 16 years old.
