Licensing Audible Intruder Alarm registration

The Control of Noise (Code of Practice on Noise from Audible Intruder Alarms) Order 1981 is a Statutory Instrument and by way of a Code of Practice gives guidance on methods for reducing the incidence of nuisance caused by ringing of alarms.

The owner of the alarm should notify the local Police of the nominated key holder. They should also tell the local Environmental Health authority which Police Station has been notified.
