Children's Services Strategies and Plans

Listed below are strategies and plans that govern the way Children's Services are delivered in Birmingham between the council and its partners.

The requirement for Children's Trusts to prepare and publish a children and young people's plan was revoked by the coalition Government in 2010. Birmingham children's services has however produced a plan for 2011-14 which reflects the detailed thinking behind its three priorities. The Children's Trust has also issued a two-page summary of the priorities.
